During the second part of the technical visit, FISU floorball technical delegate, Taneli Tiilikainen, arrived in Koper. He visited all the venues for the upcoming FISU Floorball World University Championships to be held in Koper at the end of June 2020.
Representatives of the organizere from the University Sports Association of Primorska reported on the progress of the project and organized tours of the sports venues and other infrastructure that will be necessary for the successful organization of the World Cup.
The day began at the Arena Bonifika, which will be main sport venue for the event.
It was at this time that the Bonifika Arena also hosted the Alpe Adria Cup International Floorball Tournament, organized by Slovenian Floorball Federation, which also enabled the first ever field test before the University Championships. Thus, the organizers were able to view two technical matches in the company of the technical delegate that took place that day between Hungary and Italy and then Italy and Austria. The tournament has certainly contributed a lot to improving the organization of the upcoming championship.
The day ended with a meeting where the organizers received further guidance and the opinion of technical delegate Taneli Tiilikainen. According to the delegate, the organization of the championship continues in full swing.
